Stateroom
Our Staterooms are grand statements of traditional elegance and comfort, combining all the modern amenities you could wish for. These wonderfully appointed rooms are generously proportioned and feature high ceilings with views of Lough Corrib or the River Cong, each Stateroom is located in the oldest part of the castle, dating back to the 13th & 17th centuries. Most contain feature four-poster beds and original fireplaces with exquisite antique furniture. The Staterooms also feature a seating area within the bedroom and boast large bathrooms. Presidential Suite
The epitome of elegance. An exquisite split-level Presidential Suite with an original fireplace and high ceilings throughout with spectacular floor to ceiling views of Irelands second largest lake, Lough Corrib. A warm, inviting ambience is achieved through soft ecru silks on the walls, lush beige green silks and soft green upholstery and bespoke carpet hues of the above colours. Located in the oldest wing of the Castle, The Reagan Suite features original Portrait art displays, beautifully adorned chandeliers and a cream and green painted serpentine scrolling foliate four poster bed sourced from Christie's George III style. Individually sourced antiques include a French mahogany and gilt bureau plat desk from Christie's Louis XV style and a wonderful walnut and seaweed marquetry secretaire "chest on chest" along with a fine George III mahogany break front wardrobe in the bedroom. Marbled His and Her bathrooms along with impressive wet rooms, under floor heating, air conditioning, WiFi, heated towel rails and electronic sun blinds compliment this wonderful experience. The Boathouse
Constructed more than a century ago and dating back to the time when the estate was owned by the Guinness family, our enchanting, stand-alone and lovingly restored boathouse is perched on the edge of Lough Corrib, a few minutes from the castle. Enjoying uninterrupted lake views to the front and surrounded by private gardens and terraces, guests enjoy peace, quiet and total privacy, with just the soothing sounds of the gently lapping waters for company.
