Amangiri

Number of Rooms: 34 suites, 1 Four-Bedroom Villa, and 10 tented pavilions at Camp Sarika

Desert View Suite

All suites enjoy views of the surrounding dunes and rock formations. Suites are both air conditioned for summer and feature under floor heating for the cooler winter months.

Entry to each suite is via a private courtyard that features a paneled timber screen and includes a dining table, two chairs and a sculptured light form. A glass wall with a central door opens to a combined bedroom and living room which includes a writing desk and a king sized bed. Beyond the bed is a seating area which features a low set sofa, coffee table, reading chairs and side tables.

A soaring timber cabinet separates the living and bedroom from the bathroom and this houses a 32” LCD television, combination CD/DVD player.

Concertina glass doors open from the seating area to a spacious desert lounge that frames the view of the natural landscape beyond. The lounge contains a plinth with resting mattresses and a central fireplace which is elevated and is easily viewed for the interior of the room.

The adjacent sky lit bathroom extends the full length of the room. This features separate toilet and bathing rooms, twin vanities atop a stone plinth and an extensive wardrobe that includes a personal safe. The bathing room features twin showers and a comfortable soaking tub with ceiling height views to the landscape.

The finishes of the suites include concrete walls that honor the color of the natural stone in the landscape and white stone floors. The furniture features rawhide, natural timbers and fittings are in blackened steel with light colored cushions and soft furnishings.

Mesa View Suite

• Accessed through private courtyard this suite enjoys a larger desert lounge with two lounging chairs and resting mattresses with a central fireplace.
• The view from the bathing room and soaking tub offers dramatic architecturally framed views.

Pool Suite

• Pool Suite (2 suites in total, located in the Mesa Wing)
• 705 square feet interior plus 671 square feet of external space giving a total livable space of 1376 square feet.
• Sweeping canyon views.
• Accessed through private courtyard complete with private plunge pool measuring 14'11" x 13'5" and day bed, sky lounge and desert lounge with resting mattresses alongside a central fireplace.

Terrace Pool Suite

• Terrace Pool Suite (2 suites in total, located in the Desert Wing).
• 691 square feet interior plus 676 square feet of external space giving a total livable space of 1367 square feet.
• Views of the canyon and dune.
• The layout is similar to the Pool Suite with larger pool measuring 16'3"x13'5".

Girijaala Suite

The Girijaala Suite, with panoramic views of the surrounding mountain ridge and canyons, enjoys 3,182 square feet of living space.

Guest entry is through a spacious courtyard with stairs leading up to a sky lounge offering two large day beds and dining area. Broad stairs lead from the entry courtyard to an expansive swimming pool and terrace. The swimming pool, with spectacular views, measures 45'11'x11'10' and the terrace provides four sun lounges and built-in lounge seating with dining table.

With the combined bedroom and living room following the layout of the guest suites, the bathroom offers separate toilet, double showers and bathing rooms. Separating the shower and bathing rooms is a breezeway that connects the desert lounge with the swimming pool terrace.

Amangiri Suite

Guest entry to the Amangiri Suite is through a spacious courtyard with lounging chairs that extends around the suite to an expansive swimming pool and terrace. The swimming pool measures 61'1"x11'4" and the terrace provides two daybeds, four sun lounges and built-in lounge seating with dining table. 

The interior of the suite follows the flow of the guest suites however with two bathrooms, one containing twin showers and the other a bathtub. Separating the two bathing areas is a breezeway that connects the desert lounge with the swimming pool terrace.

Rising from the entrance courtyard are steps that lead to a sky terrace with a double day bed for lounging in the day or star gazing in the evenings. The Amangiri Suite enjoys more than 3,740 square feet of living space.

The 107 sq. ft. private plunge pool on the back terrace is heated at 86 degrees year round, and the terrace features sun loungers and separate fire pit.

One-bedroom Sunset View Pavilion

1,118 sq. ft. of interior space and 764 sq. ft. of external space, giving a total livable space of 1,882 sq. ft. The Sunset View Pavilion has sweeping desert view facing the sunset, with the rock formations in the background. Guests entry is greeted with the indoor living and dining area, and the separate bedroom has its own bathroom with twin vanities, soaking tub and indoor and outdoor rain showers overlooking the desert. The 107 sq. ft. private plunge pool combined with the jacuzzi on the back terrace is heated at 86 degrees year round, and the terrace features sun loungers and separate fire pit.

1-bedroom Private Canyon Pavilion

1,118 sq. ft. of interior space and 764 sq. ft. of external space, giving a total livable space of 1,882 sq. ft. Tucked in the canyon overlooking the eastern mesa, the Private Canyon Pavilion offers elevated privacy and stunning location. Guests entry is greeted with the indoor living and dining area with stunning view of the eastern mesa. The separate bedroom has its own bathroom with twin vanities, soaking tub and indoor and outdoor rain showers overlooking the mesa. The 107 sq. ft. private plunge pool combined with the jacuzzi on the back terrace is heated at 86 degrees year round, and the terrace features sun loungers and separate fire pit.

Two-Bedroom Mesa View Pavilion

1,825 sq. ft. of interior space and 1,000 sq. ft. of external space, giving a total livable space of 2,825 sq. ft. Guests entry to the Mesa View Pavilion is greeted with the shared indoor living and dining area with stunning view of the eastern mesa. The bedrooms are on either side of the pavilion, each with its own en-suite bathroom with twin vanities, soaking tub and indoor/outdoor rain shower overlooking the mesa.
