Kenmare
Kenmare has been designated a heritage town and is beautifully situated on the Kenmare River between the Ring of Kerry and the Beara Peninsula. The town was planned and built in the 18th century by the 1st Marquis of Lansdowne, Sir William Petty. An 18 hole golf course is one of the most scenic in the country.

Newmarket-on-Fergus (Irish: Cora Chaitlín) is a town in County Clare, Ireland. The town is situated about halfway between Limerick and Ennis, and near to Shannon Town and airport. The main N18 Limerick–Ennis road passed through Newmarket until the town was bypassed in 2003. Dromoland Castle is located a small distance from Newmarket, along the road towards Ennis.

The Normans arrived in the 12th century and their legacy remains in the beautifully restored Kilkenny Castle
