Salay
Salay is located on the eastern bank of the beautiful Irrawaddy River. It is a meaningful center for Buddhism in the country with many active monasteries. Salay is a very small and colorful city with many sites to be discovered, such as the “Yoke-Sone-Kyanung” monastery, U Pone Nya museum, and the Provincial market along the Irrawaddy River.
