Bandipur

Bandipur is a small village located in the Tanahu District in Nepal. This hilltop settlement with views of the Himalayas was established in the early 19th century as a point of trade for the Newari people. Visitors today can tour the cobblestone streets on foot and shop at the main bazaar, visit the ancient Bindebasini Temple, explore Siddha Gufa, said to be the largest cave in Nepal, or stop in Bandipur’s silkworm farm.
