Kumai is a city on the Indonesian side of the island of Borneo. It is also the jumping off point to visit the marvelous Tanjung Puting National Park. At this conservation area visitors will meet the indigenous wildlife and come close to the Bornean Orangutan, and the proboscic monkey. There are boat trips down the Kuamai River and camping opportunities for those who would like to explore the park even more.
