Sur
Sur is located in the western coast of Oman. It is the capital of Ash Sharqiyah Region, and has been the capital for some time now. At one point it was under Portuguese rule but was soon liberated to the Omani imam Nasir as it went under an economic reveal. Shipbuilding is big in Sur, and has been for centuries, it now has a reputation as a major dhow-building town.
