Qingdao

Qingdao (Tsingtao) is a major industrial city, a large fishing port, and an important cultural and educational center. It is also famous for its parks and beaches. Once a small fishing village, its prime strategic position led to maritime trade from the 17th century and Chinese, German and Japanese naval control of the city.
